About Sideline Scout

Know before you go.

What is Sideline Scout?

Sideline Scout is a community-powered guide to youth sports venues. We help families find out what to expect at a field, court, or complex before they get there — from restrooms and shade to parking and concessions.

Think of it as the “what’s it actually like?” resource that every sports parent wishes existed. Because knowing whether there are bleachers or a porta-potty situation makes a real difference when you’re packing the car on a Saturday morning.

Why we built it

Sideline Scout was built by a sports parent who got tired of showing up to unfamiliar fields with no idea what to expect. No shade? No restrooms nearby? Parking half a mile away? We’ve all been there.

The idea is simple: if parents share what they know about the venues they visit, every family that comes after them is a little more prepared. A quick tip about where to park or whether to bring your own chairs can make the difference between a stressful outing and an enjoyable one.

Our mission

Help families know what to expect before game day. That’s it. No complicated agenda — just useful, honest information from people who’ve been there.

Community-driven

Everything on Sideline Scout comes from real parents and families. You can rate venues, upload photos, leave tips, and share the details that matter most — the stuff you can’t find on a Google listing.

Every contribution helps the next family that shows up. And the more people pitch in, the better it gets for everyone.
